Fred the Elf

The kids have been a little naughty today so Fred had to visit with Santa during naptime instead of waiting for bedtime tonight.

He's attempting to be inconspicuous by fishing in the water dispenser. We'll see if it works

Wait, why aren't I going anywhere?

Soooo.....sometimes I worry about Hunter. Why, you ask? Well. Um. This is why.

His 4 wheeler was on the couch so the floors could be mopped.

I'm pretty sure 1) it can't really go anywhere up on the couch, and 2) where it could go I'm praying it never will.

At least he's wearing his helmet??????

Um, go BYU?!?!

Well, that's one way to do it

Sometimes it's hard to get spaghetti noodles in your mouth.

And sometimes you've gotta be smarter than the noodles.

Slippery little suckers.

Playing trains

My kids crack me up all day long. Especially when they do silly things. Things that make perfect sense when I think of them from their point of view.

Case in point; Presley loves playing trains with (or without) Hunter. But until recently it was hard for her to just stand for a long time (she wasn't walking all that early in her little life.) I also think she had a hard time reaching all the pieces. Eh, Or maybe she's just my kid and super lazy.

With that said, this was her solution.

Opening the drawer and CLIMBING in to sit and play. Problem is, she can't get herself out. Plus, the last thing I want is for the table/drawer to get broken. So I snapped a quick picture and then got her out YET AGAIN.

And yes, she is wearing her jammie pants with her dress instead of her matching leggings. Don't ask.

Quite apropos

I finally figured out what I wanted to put over Hunter's bed. I couldn't put any sort of picture because, knowing Hunter, he would play and destroy anything within reach.

This phrase says:

Boy, (noun) a noise with dirt on it.

I don't think there is any phrase that describes him in a more apropos manner.

I love my cute boy. But he is ALL BOY.

100% Girl

Presley says just a few words now. The only ones I can really understand are "shoes," "phone," "cheese (as in, for the camera)," and "snack."

Yeah, she's a girl, that's for sure.

At church on Sunday I finally got Presley all situated when she discovered the Barbie blackberry and some animal crackers. She kept saying "hello" into the phone and then proceeded to babble away as if telling all sorts of funny stories.

This little one cracks me up.

****the picture's a little goofy because I was trying to take it without disrupting the speaker during sacrament.

Closet snacker

I was making breakfast the other morning and I went into the pantry for something and this is what I found.

Apparently I wasn't cooking fast enough to suit my littlest monster.

Halloween wear

This year for Halloween (or really, the month of October) I got the kids some fun orange and black clothes to help celebrate "the holiday of candy."

Here's the best picture I got of them all in their outfits:

And here are a few outtakes for you to enjoy:
