We had a "green" day

For St. Patrick's day this year I actually decided to do a "green" theme.  Usually I end up being so frazzled on holidays that we don't get to do anything fun or "holiday" related.

Since I make breakfast pretty much every morning anyway I made sure it was green for the kids.

Lets just say it didn't go over too well.  It kind of freaked the kids out, but I made them eat most of the Green eggs I prepared.  They did really enjoy the green milk though!

They made sure they had enough green on so they didn't get pinched at school....Madison was quite worried about that.

So she made sure to wear a fun headband, just in case....

Madison's dance troupe got to ride in the Henderson St. Patrick's Day parade this year.  It was windy.  And cold.  The kids did NOT have very much fun.

She was wearing green, but decided she wanted my hoodie, so she ended up with a black hoodie and her green headband.

But still waved to us from the front of the trailer!

By the end she was ready to get warm

Hope all of you had a fun St. Patrick's Day!

Hairbow? What hairbow?!?!

Without fail, the second I put a hairbow in Presley's hair she reaches up and takes it out.  We end up playing the "No" game.  You know the game I am sure:  I put in the hairbow, she reaches up for it, I stop her hand and say "no."  This goes on for a while, with her intermittently giggling because it is just so funny.  Finally I am able to distract her and it stays in...that is, until we get in the car.

She's so proud of herself!

Have you seen my cooking blog?

I'm a little crazy, we all know that.  So I've decided to start a cooking blog.  You know, because I'm sooo great at keeping up on this blog what I need to do is start another blog.

With that said......

....come on over and see what I'm cooking.
